The Myra Sadker Foundation Board is pleased to inform you that you have been selected as a recipient of a $500 Myra Sadker Student Award. We are impressed by the quality of your project and your interest in pursuing and advancing gender equity.
As part of the project, we conducted in depth research on the rights and responsibilities faced by United States and Russia during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Placed first in Texas History Day and moved on to the national level competition.
Back in eighth grade, Priya, Kavya, Maanasa and Smrithi were looking for a project for a National History Day competition on the topic of revolutionary action and reform. The four students created a website devoted to educating other students about Title IX’s history and value.
Sponsored by the Association of Centers for the Study of Congress (ACSC), this prize is awarded to an outstanding entry in any category and from either division which has as its primary focus the history of Congress.
